Web-Based E-files System for Bid Tik Polda Central Java Documents Using the Laravel Framework

Abstract

Archival information systems have a very important role in the progress of organisations both within companies and within government agencies. The Central Java Regional Police ICT Bid is a police agency that has several archive storage warehouses that have not been recorded according to the rules, resulting in the difficulty of the archive retrieval process. Archive management from receipt, storage and retrieval still uses an agenda book. From the research it was seen that personnel were looking for old archives that had been recorded in the agenda book. After analysing, it turns out that integrating information technology in conveying electronically provides much more convenience in obtaining information. This research is designed to assist personnel in managing existing archives and building an E-Files system for Bid TIK Polda Jateng documents using the Laravel framework to provide easy access to data from remote archive storage locations. The system that will be produced is the E-Files system using the Laravel frame work in the form of WEB at Bid TIK Polda Jateng using the waterfall method.
