Decision Support System for Fixed-Term Employment Agreements Based on Employee Performance Using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) Method.

Abstract

Fixed-Term Employment Agreement, commonly known as PKWT (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu), is a binding contract for contract employees or freelancers for a specific period according to the company's policy. Typically, the termination of a contract worker's PKWT renewal is contingent upon their performance. Employee performance data is stored in the company's records, which are then archived as either eligible or ineligible for a new PKWT. Therefore, to facilitate the company in determining PKWT eligibility, a decision support technology system is required. In this study, the TOPSIS method is employed as a decision support system, and the RAD method is used as the system development model. The system is designed and implemented as a web-based application using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The establishment of this TOPSIS-based Decision Support System is expected to assist the company in selecting and sorting employees for new PKWT allocations.
