ANDROID-BASED HONDA CAR DAMAGE DIAGNOSIS APPLICATION USING CERTAINTY FACTOR (CASE STUDY PT. ISTANA KUSUMA INDAH MOTOR)

The impact of computer technology has played a major role in changing aspects of human life, especially in the automotive sector, a system is needed that can help in this field. PT. Istana Kusuma Indah Motor is one of the companies in Semarang engaged in the automotive sector, to support consumer satisfaction, a disease diagnosis system was created, and the diseases to be studied are the types of diseases that occur in cars. The purpose of this study is to build a web-based expert system application that is able to diagnose diseases in cars, especially Honda, using the certainty factor (CF) method using the Java programming language and the Sqlite database. The study concluded that the system is able to provide trust values and can diagnose diseases in cars based on symptoms selected by the user. Because the system still has limitations, it is hoped that there will be system development with other methods so that it is more useful for users.
