Implementation of Visible Watermark for Documents in the Archival System at CITO Semarang

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of Visible watermarking for documents in the archival system at CITO, aiming to enhance document security and authenticity. The main issue addressed is the misuse and forgery of documents within the archival system. The scope of the research includes system requirements analysis, watermark design, and the integration of the watermark into the archiving process. The methods used include literature review, requirements analysis, software development, and system testing. The procedure includes collecting user requirements data, designing the watermark, developing the watermarking algorithm, and testing the robustness and effectiveness of the watermark on various types of documents. The results of this research indicate that the developed archiving system with Visible watermark features successfully improves document security and reduces the risk of document forgery. The watermark implementation can also be efficiently carried out in the CITO environment without disrupting the existing archiving process. Testing results show that the watermark remains clearly Visible and does not distort the original content of the documents
