AbstractFrom the survey that researchers have conducted, there are many technology connoisseurs who still use the AMD
Ryzen 5 2600 processor. Over time, system requests from various applications and the game is up. This causes the
performance of the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor to be not optimal. So a research was made with the title "Analysis
of Overclocking on Computer System Performance Using the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor". The method used is
the literature study method and the experimental method. The type of data from this research is quantitative data.
The stages of this research are preparation and media, BIOS configuration, overclock testing, if the system is
stable then proceed with synthetic and real-world benchmark testing, temperature testing, power consumption,
and analysis of results. From all the trials that have been carried out, it can be said that the highest processor
performance is obtained when the processor is overclocked at a speed of 4.1 GHz with a voltage of 1.35V, but the
resulting temperature is at 88 °C on the stock cooler, and 75 °C at the time of operation. using a water cooling
system.
