| Abstract | ABSTRACT Pharmaceutical service is a direct and responsible service of a pharmacist to patients related to pharmaceutical preparations with the aim of achieving definite results to improve the quality of life of the patient. Pharmaceutical services performed at the pharmacy are by providing medicines according to the patient's condition because there are too many drugs in the pharmacy, making answering patients takes 15 minutes to find the name of the drug. A pharmacist opens his medicine book as a guide. So that to make the service faster and it must be in accordance with what is expected to be less efficient, so there is no need to open a medicine book, just open a cellphone to find the name of the drug you are looking for in today's modern era. Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Technical Staff can search about drugs using this application. To find information and provide counseling about drugs to patients, the steps taken by researchers were to create an Android-based drug dictionary application system. The purpose of this study using an android-based drug dictionary application is expected to provide convenience for pharmacists and pharmaceutical technical personnel in finding information about drug names, drug uses, side effects, drug interactions and dosages according to the patient's condition at a pharmacy. For writers, they can make scientific materials for the future to make applications even better. |
