| Abstract | ABSTRACT PT. TELKOM AKSES is a service provider for the construction and management of network infrastructure. This company is experiencing various obstacles in managing inventory. One of the problems commonly faced by companies is how to predict future demand for goods based on previously stored data. This prediction is very influential on the manager’s decision to determine the amount of demand for goods that must be provided by the company. There are many methods that can be used in forecasting, the researcher adopts the method Single Exponential Smoothing in predicting demand for goods. The system development method used is the method Waterfall. The development of this item demand prediction application uses the framework Codeigniter. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the result of the prediction of demand for goods using the forecasting method Single Exponential Smoothing. The method Single Exponential Smoothing utilizes data historical request for goods to perform forecasting. The results of this study have succeeded in making a goods demand prediction Aplication PT. TELKOM AKSES using the method Single Exponential Smoothing. So that users find it easier to determine the number of requests for goods that are suitable for use so that there is no accumulation of goods |
