| Abstract | ABSTRACT Kendal is a small town in Central Java that is developing in the field of tourism. In the development can be seen from the number of tours that have been opened. Tourist attractions is a place that can be visited by everyone to travel and release boredom with everyday activities. But not all Kendal people who know the location of the resort. To facilitate the public to get information about the location of the tour, then made Application Geographical Information System Location of Kendal City Tour Using Android to answer the problem. The method of research in making this application consists of secondary and primary data types, while data collection techniques consist of literature study and observation, while the system development used is waterfall model. The information system application of geographic location of Kendal city based on android city is made with Java Studio programming language which has been bundled with ADT (android development tool), Google Maps, and designed only runs on android-based operating system. The final result in this final project is a geographic information system application program located in Kendal city based on android city that can help navigate the user related to tourist geographic layout in Kendal without any time and distance constraint, just by searching and navigation from Android smartphone. |
