| Abstract | The online exam system is one part of the distance education information system through internet technology media. Exams conducted by most educational institutions, in this case schools are still carried out conventionally. The concept of online exams that are not related to space and time can be a solution to the obstacles that exist in conventional exam methods. This system aims to make it easier for teachers to give exams and the process of giving exam scores that are effective and efficient because the assessment process is given directly when students finish working on exams. The research was conducted by observing the system directly so that the results of the analysis of system requirements were obtained. As a basis and reference for creating an online exam system, a literature study is carried out and then a database design is made. The programming language used is PHP and MySQL as the database. The questions are presented in a multiple choice system. The implementation of this online exam system is made with facilities including exam management, exam question management, teacher and student data management which will produce value output. Based on the results of a survey analysis of the use of online exam applications on teachers and students of MA Hidayatus Syubban, 90,9% were satisfied with the online exam application with a nice and simple application display, easy to use by teachers and students, 90,9% stated accept new technologies such as online exam applications that help administer exams, and the assessment process. |
