AbstractInformation Technology (IT) is currently not only used for telecommunications and publications. Almost all
aspects of life can be inserted elements of information technology in line with the goal of increasing the progress
of all fields. Not to forget, the field of education is currently very synonymous with technological advances to
become the standard for the advancement of the educational method. The development of IT itself is very fast so
that SMAN 1 Patikraja Banyumas Regency takes part by presenting a Learning Management System (LMS).
However, this must be balanced with an evaluation or audit of the Learning Management system so that threats
or losses can be avoided or prevented. This study aims to determine the extent to which the performance of the
Learning management system (LMS) or e-learning as a learning support tool that has been applied to SMAN 1
Patikraja and provide recommendations for improved governance after knowing the gap between current
governance and expected governance in accordance with the framework used. . The COBIT framework supports
IT governance by providing work support to manage IT alignment with the aim of the usefulness of the Learning
Management System expected by SMAN 1 Patikraja, Banyumas Regency.
