AbstractABSTRACT

The development of technology is currently increasingly rapid in the development of 3D which is already popular in society, especially in Augmented Reality (AR). The use of AR has now expanded to many aspects of life and is projected so that it has experienced a significant development. This is because the use of AR is very interesting and makes it easier for users to do something.The use of information media using Augmented Reality (AR) stimulates students' thinking patterns to think critically about problems and events that occur in everyday life, because the nature of information media is to help students in the learning process or as an information medium. Augmented Reality (AR) media can visualize abstract concepts for understanding and the structure of the object model enables Augmented Reality (AR) as a very effective medium as a medium for information and learning.Therefore, the making of the Augmented Reality (AR) application uses image tracking at the University of Semarang, which aims as a 3D marketing to attract more prospective new students and simultaneously introduce Augmented Reality technology to the public in the form of an Android application
