AbstractAn efficient, accurate and safe election of the OSIS Chair is needed for an educational institution. The process of
selecting the student council chair which is usually done manually can now be done online using electronic voting,
it is hoped that students can access and choose a candidate for the student council chair without having to come
directly to the polling station as before the students were gathered in one place. E-voting for the election of the
OSIS chairman greatly support the work of the OSIS management to conduct efficient elections, as well as save
expenses. The purpose of this research is to create an E-voting system for the Election and Determination of the
Student Council Chair. This systemis designed with several stages, namely data and information collection, needs
analysis and system design, and system testing. This system is designed using the UML model visualization and
developed using the PHP Framework Code Igniter and MySQL as a database that facilitates the voting process
and can maintain data security from manipulation by other parties. Testing this system using alpha and beta,
which resulted in 75% of respondings stating tha system that has been made makes it easy for all user stakeholders.
