AbstractThe point of sale system is an important activity for every agency that trades goods or services. Point of sale
system is a benchmark for companies in managing sales data, because in addition to its many benefits, the system
can change a company for the better. Transaction the Surya Sports Store are considered ineffective because
daily transactions still use writing, so this system is less efficient in saving time, energy and materials. In
addition, this store still relies on manual writing in monitoring goods. With this problem, a web-based Point of
Sale system is one solution because it is considered efficient in terms of storage and flexibility in the functions
that can be added, such as automatic counting functions, stock reduction after transactions, reporting, to charts
for monitoring sales. In building the system, the method used is the RAD development method or Rapid
Application Development because it is considered appropriate in terms of development because of the interaction
between the developer and the client to the right problem solving without having to repeat everything from
scratch. The result of making this system is a system that can make it easier to manage item data and transactions,
help employees manage item data in the inventory, manage transactions between customers, reduce errors in
the report recording process and select/monitor items.
