| Abstract | ABSTRACT SMK PGRI 4 Kendal is an educational institution that has participated in implementing online learning activities in overcoming educational problems during the Covid19 pandemic. Where the writing of questions is still typed in Microsoft word and conveyed through the WhatsApp group, students still write the results of the answers on a sheet of paper then send them to the teacher's WhatsApp, and the results of student exams are recapitulated in Microsoft Excel. Therefore, an online exam application is needed to make it easier to make teacher questions, deliver questions to students, and process the results of student teaching and learning activities amid the Covid19 pandemic.To create a web based academic information system, the author uses the waterfall method by designing the system using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The web is built using the CodeIgniter framework. Then supported MySQL to manage existing databases.The final result of this research is a webbased online examination application of SMK PGRI 4 Kendal, which can provide convenience in making teacher questions, delivering questions to students, taking student exams, and recapitulating student exam results easily. |
