| Abstract | ABSTRACT The online learning system (e-learning) is an innovation in learning patterns in schools. The policy of reducing face-to-face learning due to the corona virus pandemic has limited the time, place and number of meetings between teachers and students at MTs Miftahul Ulum. Teachers experience obstacles in delivering material to students, on the other hand students also cannot receive material or explanations from the teacher optimally. Based on the problems that arise in the learning methods at MTs Miftahul Ulum, an online-based learning system is created so that it can help the learning of teachers and students at MTs Miftahul Ulum. This online learning system (E-Learning) was developed using the waterfall method. The system design tool used is UML (Unified Modeling Language) which includes Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams. This system is built using the web-based CodeIgniter framework and MySQL as a database. The online learning system at MTs Miftahul Ulum provides material, assignments, and information about the school so that it can provide solutions to learning patterns for teachers and students due to the limitations of face- to-face learning in schools.. |
