| Abstract | ABSTRACT Organizations with multiple branch offices can use the internet for coordination process, so it can cut costs incurred for business trip or for inter- branch meeting. With the soaring use of web-based application, will facilitate organizaitons with a lot branch offices to collaborate, but not all applications can pass through the internet safely, for security reasons or due to limitations of the application alone. There are several applications that still use the local client-server model orlocal area network. To connect two or more organizational offices at relatively lowcost from renting a VPN, by utilizing the internet service provider network the tunneling feature can be used. VPN-L2TP provides a solution in implementing this network besides of connecting the local network with external network, the benefits obtained are security data, convenience and effectiveness of the company computer network that is increased compared to the system that was running previously. |
