AbstractShowroom Dp Dua Putri is a manufacturing company engaged in the sale of cars. This company sells various types of cars from used cars to new cars. The Dp Dua Putri Showroom has so many sales figures every day. Even though there are many enthusiasts who buy in this showroom, the Dp Dua Putri Showroom has several problems in its sales system. One of them is the Dp Dua Putri Showroom which does not have a conventional catalog book to introduce its products. So when consumers want to buy they don't have a price reference for the products being sold, even manual catalog creation requires a lot of money and cannot update the latest products on time. And the Dp Dua Putri Showroom does not have a special buying and selling platform for online sales which results in consumers having difficulty finding information about used cars and the latest cars to purchase products. In this study the author will create a web application "Web-Based Marketplace using the CodeIgniter 3 Framework". This system is built using the PHP Framework programming language, namely the CodeIgniter 3 Framework and uses the Prototype method as a system development method. It is hoped that this system can help companies provide product information clearly to consumers and the company has an online buying and selling platform that consumers can use in buying products online.
