| Abstract | ABSTRACT New Student Admission (PPDB) is a process that occurs every year before the new school year is carried out by every school, both public and private. MA Hidayatus Syubban is one of the educational institutions located in Genuk District, Semarang City and received an "A" accreditation certificate. In conducting the New Student Admission (PPDB) process, they still use the conventional system (paper), namely the guardian of students and students must come to school to carry out the new student registration process so that it is less effective and efficient. And in the process of reporting the registrant data, they still use manuals by recapitulating them in Microsoft excel and then printing them out for reporting to the principal, so the print outs are sometimes lost or torn. In this study the author will create a Web-Based New Student Admission System. This system is built using the Yii framework as a framework and MySQL as its storage, and uses the Waterfall system development method. It is hoped that this system can support the New Student Admission (PPDB) process at MA Hidayatus Syubban, Genuk District, Semarang City. |
