AbstractSDN Tlogosari Kulon 03 implementing a model student program to strengthen the quality of education and also
increases interest in learning, behaves and has good character in students by giving the title of a model student.
The selection of model students is looking at the highest score from the students and then waiting for the results
of the agreement from the teachers so it is less effective and efficient. Currently, there is still no system that can
help from human error. The system is needed that can assist in making decisions to get optimal results in the
selection. Through this decision support system, it hoped can assist teachers in selecting model students at SDN
Tlogosari Kulon 03. This decision support system is built by the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and the
Waterfall system development model. The criteria used are Knowledge Value, Skill Value, Attendance (Amount of
Alpha), Attitude, Extracurricular, and Achievement (Competition that is followed). The result are Ageng Jati
Kusuma ranks first with a final score (V) of 0.96 and Aisha Quin Nastiti in second place with a final score (V) of
0.885 through SAW method on the system.
