AbstractABSTRACT

Coffee is one of the many popular drinks known for a long time. The identical bitter taste becomes opium for most people. Cooking coffee to the right temperature is the way to enjoy coffee. Because temperature is an important factor that affects the taste of coffee. To simplify human life, an efficient form of control is made, one of which is IoT, where computing machine systems, mechanical and digital devices, certain objects, are connected and can interact via the internet. The problem that occurs is that the taste of each person's presentation is different because the temperature when cooking coffee is not the same, using a thermometer whose temperature is dipped in water that is being cooked. The automation of this coffee heating machine was built using the Prototype development method, where this method has five stages, namely communication, planning, modeling, construction/prototype formation and device delivery. The results of this study are coffee heating machine automation tools with ESP32-based temperature sensors with IoT. The automation of this coffee heating machine can make it easier to cook coffee because it can automatically turn off and on after it is set via the device according to the upper and lower limit temperatures of the type of coffee being cooked. With the automation of this coffee heater, it is expected to be able to cook coffee with precision so that the coffee tastes more delicious according to the type of coffee and can be controlled remotely.
