AbstractABSTRACT

The cashier system is mandatory for shops to pay attention to in order to facilitate transactions. The system at Yvapor is considered ineffective because the recording of daily transaction data and reports is still done in writing by recording using books and paper so this system is inefficient in saving time, energy and material.With the problems in the system, a web-based cashier system using CodeIgniter was designed. In building the system, the approach method used is a structured approach method using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method where the data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. This web application is expected to help develop a cashier system at Yvapor stores to make it more efficient, including store data, goods data, transaction data and sales report data and can replace manual cashier systems so as to minimize cashier errors by up to 90% in making sales reports
