AbstractWaras shop is a shop that sells daily necessities which is located on Jalan Purwosari Raya, Rejosari, East Semarang
District, Semarang city. Toko Waras has served many business transactions since 2004. Each transaction is
recorded/stored using several methods including buying and selling transactions are still done manually, incoming
goods transactions are stored in Ms.Excel, for warehouse stock using Ms.Word, bookkeeping is stored in Ms.Word.
and several different files, the purchase plan is recorded using a book. To help overcome existing problems and
facilitate business data at the Waras Shop, a system was formed that can help business efficiency and effectiveness
by applying Software Engineering analysis and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) concepts at sales , inventory ,
SCM (Supply Chain Management) and bookkeeping based on existing transactions. Applying the waterfall method
as a method in system development, implementing UML as a tool in designing an application that will be formed and
using the Java programming language. The results of the research are in the form of a desktop application that can
make the efficiency and effectiveness of Toko Waras business activities
