| Abstract | ABSTRACT In Semarang city, people's interest in raising animals has increased, like raising dogs, cats and reptiles. Lack of public understanding of animal health is not aware of signs that animals have the disease. When the community brought them to the veterinary clinic for examination and treatment, the animals were already seriously ill. That thing is because the community experiences confusion in determining the location for choosing a veterinary clinic and related to the costs required to examine fear of paying large fees. So geographic information is a need that can provide data quickly and accurately. From these problems, an online-based geographic information system was build using the CodeIgniter framework. The PHP programming language has the MVC (Model View Controller) pattern. Have complete library can perform general commands required by web-based applications such as validating forms and processing databases. The mapping use leaflets because they have the advantage of beautifying the map and are open source. GIS (Geographic Information System) online-based mapping of animal health clinics, will be easily accessed anywhere and anytime. The system is an implementation in the form of a web by displaying information or images in the form of a map in the location distribution of animal health clinics in Semarang city with longitude and latitude coordinates. Can show public and private animal health clinics so that there are color differences in a location tagging. |
