AbstractStudent achievement in an education is very important, this is related to the ability of students in the learning process
as well as a trigger for other students to be able to improve their achievement in learning. Giving awards to students
at SMPN 12 Semarang is currently still not effective because the criteria and weights used are not clear and of course
not yet computerized. To overcome these existing problems, it is necessary to develop a Decision Support System for
determining outstanding students that has been made systematically and of course with clear and computerized criteria
and weights. This decision support system is made using the MOORA (Multi-Obective Optimization Method by Ratio
Analysis) method. In the analysis and design, this system uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the development
of this system uses the Waterfall method. This system is built using PHP and uses a MySQL database. The final result
in this study is to build a web-based Decision Support System that can fairly assess student achievement for the annual
award of outstanding students at SMPN 12 Semarang.
