AbstractIn giving rewards and punishments at ROC Telkom Regional 4, there are several obstacles faced, including the
difficulty in selecting employees who deserve to be rewarded with many criteria as an assessment, so that
sometimes employees who should receive rewards actually receive punishment. On the other hand, employees who
should receive punishment receive rewards. Another obstacle is that the leadership of ROC Telkom Regional 4
expects employees who receive rewards and punishments to be reported immediately, while HRD does not only
handle employee problems but also a series of tasks related to other company problems. Therefore, a structured
and standardized decision-making technique or method is needed to assist the HRD ROC Telkom Regional 4 in
determining the provision of rewards and punishments for ROC Telkom Regional 4 employees so that the decisions
reached are in accordance with what is needed and can be accepted by all employees ( without exception).From
the results of the study, it can be concluded, among others: The decision support system that was built was very
helpful to speed up data processing in decision making for Giving Rewards and Punishments to Employees. The
SMART method is a suitable method to be applied in making decisions with various alternatives, especially
determining the provision of rewards and punishments to employees quickly and precisely. The level of accuracy
of the test results using the SMART method is 100%.
