AbstractABSTRACT

A salt pond is an artificial pond filled with sea water which has a very high salt content so that it can be
processed into salt. In making salt, water that has a NaCl content of 24 is needed. The success of salt production
is determined by the factor of NaCl content, water level and hot weather in the pond, due to lack of control over
the entry of water into the salt pond. If the water level has reached 10 cm above the ground, the windmill will be
stopped by the farmer manually.With these problems, a tool was designed to assist pond owners in controlling
the entry of water and water levels in the salt pond land. In this study, the main components used are NodeMCU
ESP8266 as the main control, ultrasonic sensors to measure the water level in the salt pond land and relays as
control of the dynamo as a windmill drive which controls the entry of water.The purpose of making this tool is
expected to help salt pond owners, with this tool it can make it easier for salt pond owners to control the water
level that enters the land and stop the wheel automatically. So that pond owners do not need to check the water
level and stop the wheel manually. Therefore, this research produces a tool that can control the entry of water into salt
ponds automatically
