AbstractABSTRACT

The development of information technology is currently very fast, this is a challenge for companies and the
world of education, in the world of education, one of the uses of technology that can be used to support school
operational activities is the academic information system. SD IT Bunayya is a school that still uses manual or
conventional systems in managing their academic data, such as monitoring grades that can only be seen at the
time of receipt of report cards, manual attendance, and also confirmation of school payments. So that it is not
optimal in making decisions and also obtaining information on academic activities. The system development
method used to build this academic information system uses the Prototype and UML methods for designing the
diagrams, as well as system design tools using Balsamiq Mockups 3. The development of this academic
information system uses the Laravel framework. The Laravel framework is currently still on the rise, it is hoped
that the use of Laravel will be able to facilitate the creation of academic information systems. In addition, it also
uses the MySQL database as data storage. The purpose of building this academic information system is to create
a system that makes it easier for staff and teachers to enter academic data, student grades, lesson schedules and
other school data management, in addition to facilitating information system data management. This also makes
it easier for students and parents to see grades, lesson schedules, and also confirm school payments, so that an
increase in the quality of a school institution will increase.
