| Abstract | ABSTRACT A house is one of the buildings that is used as a place to live for a certain period of time. Apart from being used as a place to live, the house is also used as a means of protection, this protection includes rain, air temperature and the safety of the occupants of the house. Not a few homeowners lose their belongings when leaving their house home . Given the profession that people live in these days, which often requires leaving home to go to work, both in the city and outside the city. Various problems always threaten security in the housing environment, such as theft. Theft of property - home property usually occurs when the house is empty where the home owner has to leave the house for daily activities. So a good security system is needed to minimize theft. In this study, the authors built an IoT-based home security system using a prototype method to analyze needs. In this security system using a PIR sensor and a VC0706 camera. To solve this problem, an iot-based home security system was created using a pir sensor and a camera. This system is expected to help minimize and identify if a crime occurs at the owner's house. |
