AbstractSemarang Variation Store is a business that is engaged in the inventory and sales of motorized automotive
furniture. In its management, it still uses a manual system, namely writing sales reports in books, so it is less
efficient and takes a lot of time. For this reason, in order for the business to survive, it requires the use of
information technology in the development of the business, especially in terms of promotion in order to remain
competitive with other businesses. Therefore, a web-based inventory and sales information system is proposed
that can serve the needs of consumers and companies. The method used in designing an inventory and sales
information system is a prototype model, and uses the PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) programming
language, MySQL database server and uses the CodeIgniter Framework. The result of this research is a webbased inventory and sales information system application that has a payment feature, making it easier for payment
transactions, and will increase sales and make it easier to manage sales reports.
