| Abstract | ABSTRACT The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is a government agency whose job is to provide weather or climate information that is or will happen. Weather forecast information is a necessity for some people whose activities are influenced by the weather, such as agriculture, shipping and aviation so that their activities can be well planned. Cloud cover cassification is very influential in determining the weather in an area. From determining the cloud cover classification BMKG can determine what weather will happen in an area. The web-based information sistem for classification of cloud cover (Cloud Cover) BMKG Maritim Semarang is a development of the previous sistem. This sistem will later be built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and the sistem development method using the Waterfall method. Because of the importance of studying cloud cover classification, especially in determining the weather in an area, this sistem is made to simplify and speed up managing weather forecasts short term regarding cloud cover classification. |
