AbstractThe population data collection information system is intended to increase efficiency in terms of population data
collection and reporting. Kedungmenjangan Village, Purbalingga Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, so far,
population data collection is still in manual form, making it difficult and slowing down the process of reporting,
changing and deleting data, especially population data. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to develop a
population data collection information system. The purpose of this information system is to provide convenience to
sub-district officials in manipulating population data and informing it in order to provide efficiency in population data
collection. The steps taken in this case are system requirements analysis, system design, and system testing. In this
implementation, the PHP programming language is used and MySQL is used as the database. Based on the results of
the study, it can be concluded several things, namely: This software can be used to handle the process of filling in
data, changing data, deleting and searching population data, this system can also provide printed reports of population
data.
