Abstract | Technological developments are growing so fast, giving rise to a new science, namely Web engineering. Web engineering is a new branch of science in which it studies the development or engineering process of a web application so that web development is easier and faster. The information system for data collection of residents of RW 5 housing Pondok Majapahit 1 still uses a manual system using Microsoft Excel. This raises some problems that are quite inconvenient, especially on invalidity and data incompatibility. There are often problems when searching for information about new residents, as well as residents who have moved from the village. Likewise, the provision of data, such as employment data, education data and demographic data of residents, which is often not up to date. Departing from the above constraints, the design of an information system for collecting data on residents of RW 5 Pondik Majapahit 1. It is hoped that this citizen data collection information system will greatly assist RW agencies and the kelurahan level in conducting citizen data collection. Where this system will carry out the data collection process along with the process of submitting residence letters by every citizen who comes to the village hall. Thus, population data can be obtained easily without having to collect data directly to the place where the residents live, but directly from the house data of the local RW leader, for this reason, based on this description, the purpose of this research is to create an information system for RW 5 residents data collection that can help all parties to the creation of an effective and efficient data collection information system for residents of RW 5 Pondok Majapahit 1 housing. |
