| Abstract | ABSTRACT Diklat Keterampilan Khusus (DKK) at the Politeknik Bumi Akpelni is one of the certificate makers that are needed by prospective sailors who will sail. Special skills training at the Politeknik Bumi Akpelni has several certifications including BRM, ERM, ECDIS, RADAR & ARPA, GMDSS, ORU, SAT, SDSD, SSO, MC, MEFA. Diklat Keterampilan Khusus (DKK) at the Politeknik Bumi Akpelni has used an information system to manage the schedule of the training held, but it is only 1 (one) training certification, that is BRM (Bridge Resource Management) certification training. Considering that some of the schedule settings have used the system, but not completely. So it is feared that there will be data redundancy, collisions between teacher schedules, inappropriate times and ineffectiveness in validating schedules. Also the training schedule is always increasing every year, a more complex and effective information system is needed to solve with the problem. The implementation of this system uses the native PHP programming language assisted by bootstrap as the interface design and MySQL as database processing. The result of this research is a web-based certification scheduling information system program specifically to handle certification schedule management activities in Diklat Keterampilan Khusus at the Politeknik Bumi Akpelni. |
