AbstractPT. Mitra Karsa Utama is a company engaged in the business of providing construction services and managing
network infrastructure. PT. Mitra Karsa Utama is located at Jalan JL Cempedak Selatan No. 3 RT 2 RW 1, Kel.
Lamper Kidul, Kec. South Semarang, Semarang City. PT. Mitra Karsa Utama still finds many problems in
managing employee work attendance. Attendance is still managed using Microsoft Excel and without any storage
to the database, so attendance data is not stored safely. The company also has difficulty in storing employee data
because it has not been systemized. The creation of an employee attendance system using the waterfall method
begins with collecting data related to the system to be built, then analyzes it, and continues with designing a system
based on the results of the analysis. The next step is to make a program according to the design results. After the
program is completed, testing is carried out to ensure that the program created is as expected. Making the program
using the PHP programming language and using MySql. The final result of the research is the creation of an
employee attendance system to make it easier for companies to manage employee salaries online.
