AbstractPondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Bina Khoirul Insan (PPM BKI) Semarang is a new boarding school for college
student, inaugurated in 2018. All information ranging from student data, student grades, student attendance and
so on that you want to access such as adding, deleting and editing everything using the manual method, namely
by using a spreadsheet that is classified as less efficient and the archived student information data is not neat.
Moreover, boarding school administrators whose majority are students sometimes forget or lose student
information data that should be stored because they are busy in their lectures. Not to mention if there is student
information data in the form of hardcopy or paper that you want to keep, it will be difficult for the boarding school
administrator to only save it in hardcopy. As a result, if student information data is needed at any time, the
boarding school administrator will find it difficult to find the student information data, even more so because in
the cottage there is still no personal computer or laptop device specifically for the cottage. So the author proposes
to build an Android-based information system application that can be accessed from anywhere that makes it easier
for boarding school administrators to archive important data for boarding school students, thus making it easier
for boarding school administrators to search in the future.
