| Abstract | ABSTRACT SMKN 8 Semarang is one of the public schools in the city of Semarang, thus making this school the choice of many current student parents because this school is quite advanced, but the academic data processing process in this school is still not integrated. The ongoing academic system is still using the Ms. application. Excel, without a database. As a result of this there are many obstacles faced by the school in academic matters such as in processing student data, teacher data, student attendance, student grades. In addition, the presentation of the information is still not fast, precise and accurate because the media for delivering information is currently only "traditional" tools such as wall papers and physical documents such as leaflets and report cards. , teacher data, student attendance, student scores at SMKN 8 Semarang. The system development method used in this school information system uses the waterfall model, the design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), the programming languages used are PHP and Kotlin using the MySQL database. The Android-based Academic information system created is expected to provide convenience in providing student final grades, academic announcements and making alternative media for students to get value information without waiting for the final trankip to be distributed. |
