AbstractMaintaining stock of goods so that no items are empty is one way to maintain customer satisfaction. To fulfill this, the
seller must be able to analyze which item data is the best-selling and which one is not selling well from the item sales
report data, this is not easy if the store is a retail store that has hundreds or even thousands of sales data every month.
These problems can be solved by using one of the techniques in data mining, namely the K-Means Clustering algorithm.
This research is intended to help Alma Home Shop, which is a shop in the city of Semarang that sells various kinds of
clothing, especially Muslim clothing, to group its sales data in order to maximize its stock management. The variables
used are the number of transactions and the final stock. The data is processed by manual calculation in excel using
the K-Means algorithm so that the final result is in the form of two clusters where there are 10 types of best-selling
items and 10 types of less-selling items. These results can be utilized by the management of Alma Home Shop to
improve stock management and sales strategies.
