| Abstract | ABSTRACT City of Salatiga had many educational instutitions which is spread out in every districts. But, the information about facilities and zoning are still a few people know that. Because of the informations are not centered and a little hard to search it. For that we need Geographic Information System (GIS) that contains full of school data with centered in the system. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system information that specifically manages spatial data. The design analysis used is UML (Unified Modeling Language), while the design method used is RAD (Rapid Aplication Development), where there are three stages, requirements, RAD workshop designm and implementation.this method is used because it saves time throughout the entire project phase and focus on turnaround time project. GIS is built based on web using language PHP programming with the framework CI (CodeIgniter). Database using MySQL, and the map base using Leaflet. The data that is in web can be updated anytime easily because this system has admin page. This system can make it easier for students candidate to acces informations about school service and facilities available in the City of Salatiga. |
