AbstractThe Demak Population and Civil Registration Service is an agency that has duties in regional government affairs in
the field of population administration and civil registration services. To improve the quality of employees, agencies
always evaluate the results of employee performance by evaluating employee performance. However, there are
problems in the process of evaluating employee performance appraisals, which are still using the manual method so
that leaders still have difficulty in making the right decision whether or not an employee is elected to be an exemplary
employee. In addition, the leadership is still experiencing difficulties in managing the assessment data. The system that
is currently running is with Microsoft Excel and there is no system that can save it to the database. So a system is
needed to assist the process of evaluating the employee's performance. In this study the authors used the Additive Ratio
Assessment (Aras) method. This Decision Support System uses UML as a tool in modeling and the Waterfall method
for its design. This Decision Support System can generate a ranking of assessment results and determine the results of
exemplary employees based on each alternative and criteria. So with this system, it is hoped that it can help problems
at the Demak Population and Civil Registration Service.
