Abstract | ABSTRACT Assessment of the promotion of Sukun Transport employees is still carried out based on deliberative assessment between the respective superiors and the authorities, so it is possible to make decisions subjectively. Seeing the existing problems, a decision support system is needed that can help solve problems in decision making. The decision support system for employee promotion is expected to be able to overcome this problem by adjusting the criteria and weights that have been determined by the company. The method used in decision making is the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method, which can determine which employees are included in the weight and criteria for promotion at Sukun Transport. The criteria used by the author using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method are attendance, feasibility tests, initiative and cooperation. The program design is built using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 programming language with MySQL database. The research method used in data collection is by observing the object directly and studying the literature from various sources, while the system development method uses the Waterfall method. Determination of eligibility for promotion of employees will receive the criteria value sequentially based on company regulations. The results of this research will be an application that can help in calculating the assessment of the promotion of Sukun Transport employees so that the processed data is more accurate. |
