AbstractABSTRACT

To obtain a qualified workforce is to conduct a selection of prospective workers. The process of hiring employees at CV Seger Makmur Sentosa currently still uses the manual method, this results in the processing of prospective employee data taking a long time. There are often errors in processing data so that the results of decisions that are not objective such as errors in accepting candidates who do not meet the criteria or company needs can be accepted to work in the company. In this study, we will build a new employee recruitment system using the TOPSIS (Techinique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The TOPSIS method has the advantages of simple and easy-to-understand concepts, efficient computing and decision results in simple mathematical form. In conducting research, the author uses the Waterfall system development model, research aids used are UML (Unified modeling language), using PHP, MySQL database. The results of this study are the new employee recruitment system using the web-based TOPSIS method. With this system, it is hoped that it can provide alternative decisions in the employee recruitment process so that prospective employees are obtained that match the company's needs.
