| Abstract | TEXMACO Employee Cooperative (KOPKARTEX) is a multi-purpose cooperative located in the area of PT. Polysindo Eka Perkasa (PEP) and PT. Multikarsa Investama (MKI) Kaliwungu, which is precisely on Jalan Raya Kaliwungu KM.19 Kendal. Recruitment of employees at KOPKARTEX is still manual, while there are so many people who register so that the manual method is not efficient. The method used for the Decision Support System (DSS) for employee recruitment is the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The TOPSIS method is based on the concept that the best chosen alternative not only has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution, but also has the longest distance from the negative ideal solution. To solve this problem, a Decision Support System (DSS) for employee recruitment is needed. Decision Support System (DSS) itself is an interactive system in making decisions through the use of data and data modeling methods to solve semistructured problems. The author hopes that the SPK that has been made will be a technology development at the TEXMACO Employee Cooperative (KOPKARTEX). |
