AbstractABSTRACT

PT. Telkom Akses Semarang is a State Owned Enterprise (BUMN), one of the companies engaged in information and communication technology (ICT) services and telecommunications networks in Indonesia. Selection of a team leader as a function of human resource management activities has a very important role for increased employee productivity and the progress and development of a company. Selection of Team Leader for employees requires careful consideration, especially for middle to upper positions. The main concept for carrying out the selection of the right team leader is to choose the best of them the best based on an objective assessment of a manager. The decision to choose a team leader for employees should also refer to the criteria and competencies that can meet the needs of the company and provide satisfaction to its employees. Likewise with a company, PT Telkom Akses Semarang, in order to achieve maximum team leader selection it is necessary to have a Decision Support System (SPK) with the Profile Matching method. The Profile Matching method is a method that can help solve complex problems based on the decomposition of the problems being faced in the company. So that by using a computerized and well-integrated system a manager can be helped to make decisions about choosing a team leader for employees in the company by paying attention to several predetermined criteria, namely Intellectual, Work Attitude, and Behavior. So that by using this profile matching method, the Team Leader selection process at PT Telkom Akses Semarang can run quickly and precisely
