AbstractABSTRACT

Psychological tests are tests to measure the psychological aspects of an individual using measuring instruments used to obtain information about a person's thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and behavior in order to make judgmental decisions about a person. Tests can take the form of written, visual, or administered verbal evaluations to measure cognitive and emotional functioning. The test can be applied to children and adults. Included in the test for making SIM in the current era, the government added a rule regarding the issuance of SIM in article 81 paragraph (4) of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation and as outlined in article 36 of the Chief of Police Regulation No. 9 of 2012 concerning Driver's License. The method in developing this system was built using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method by Thomas L. Saaty. This method can solve a fairly complex problem where there are quite a lot of aspects or criteria. This complexity can also be caused by the unclear structure of the problem, the uncertainty of perceptions in decision making and the unavailability of accurate statistical data and the lack of exact numbers in psychological test SIM assessments.
