AbstractABSTRACT

So far, the payroll process at CV. Semarang Jaya Sentosa has been done manually, with a process that is still manual, even calculation errors cannot be avoided. This results in inconvenience for employees at work, which in turn can reduce employee productivity. Given these problems, the authors feel the need to create a programming application that can facilitate the work of HRD CV Semarang Jaya Sentosa in managing employee attendance data which is the basis for calculating salaries, so that in the end an effective and efficient payroll system is obtained. CV Semarang Jaya Sentosaini's payroll information system is made with the CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL as the database. This information system can be used to manage employee data, work, vacation, salary, also to calculate salary based on the data that has been inputted, and can be used to print reports. Finally, with this payroll information system, the salary calculation process can be done automatically without the need to calculate manually and the salary data obtained is appropriate, provided that all the data entered is valid.
