| Abstract | ABSTRACT Tourism is an inseparable part of human life. The natural beauty, especially in Indonesia, invites many foreign and domestic tourists who want to travel. The development of the tourism industry which includes a variety of tourism activities and the support of facilities and services provided by the community, entrepreneurs, and local governments. With many choices of tourist attractions in Indonesia, accompanied by the development of the tourism sector, the number of travel agencies also increases which creates intense business competition in this sector. The problem that exists at this time is how to optimize the use of internet technology in the tourism sector. Therefore, use a website-based information system that emphasizes online booking can be used as a basis for developing a tourism website. With internet-based, it will make it easier for tourists to obtain information and reservations to make visits to various tourist attractions. The purpose of this final project research is to build an application system design to promote tourist attractions in Indonesia and make it easier for tourists to order the desired tour packages without having to come to the office so that it can be faster and easier because it utilizes alternative media, namely the internet. |
