Implementation Of The FIFO (First In First Out) Method In The Inventory Application At Bloods Store Semarang

Abstract

Bloods Clothing Industries is an independent clothing company. Clothing independent is a creative industry that is engaged in the business of making and distributing clothing that is carried out independently with collectivism. Bloods has various branches, one of which is located at Jalan Ngesrep Timur V No. 112A Semarang. Bloods Store Semarang has an inventory web application, but the data management of incoming and outgoing goods has not been managed properly. Items that entered early are often buried with new items. With the use of the implementation of the FIFO method, that is, the goods that enter first will be issued first. So it is expected to be able to regulate the process of entering and leaving goods so that the management of goods becomes orderly. The development of the system used is the Waterfall method in carrying out the design and manufacture of inventory applications. Making an inventory application will use the Codeigniter Framework with the PHP programming language. The results of the research later are web-based applications using the FIFO Method Implementation which can provide convenience and accuracy of data in the process of managing goods and minimizing the stock of goods piling up at the Bloods Store Semarang.
