DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERNET OF THINGS BASED AUTOMATED RABBIT FEEDING SYSTEM

The development of technology in Indonesia are very rapid and cover all human needs, one example is through animal husbandry which can be carried out through an automatic feeding system that is controlled remotely. The author has 2 adult rabbits, male and female, and 6 baby rabbits. Raising rabbits often faces problems in feeding patterns, where the author experiences negligence in feeding the rabbits because online lectures have started and this results in many sick rabbits and even undesirable things happening such as 6 of the author's rabbits dying. This research aims to provide a solution by creating a design for automatic feeding of rabbits based on the Internet of Things, by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology with an Arduino IDE module containing the Esp8266 library, as well as HC-SR04 ultrasonics. sensor as a detector of the distance of food in a container. and monitoring feed tools using Telegram BOT. The research results show that the rabbit feeding equipment works according to its function. By giving the command to eat, the rabbit's food will come out, providing information on feeding times and food availability. By giving the command to check the feed, feed height data will be obtained, and this will result in the longest device response time. 38 seconds.
