| Abstract | Every college or university must have an event that needs to be published to its students and it is necessary to take care of it from registration to completion of the event. At the University of Semarang itself, every event such as a seminar, workshop or other event is only published through existing social media and a lot of students or prospective participants are confused about how to register and find out the quota of participants at the event. From these problems, the authors create a web-based event management system that uses Progressive Web Apps (PWA) technology which was developed with the prototype method where the data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. This system uses React.js.javascript framework and MySql database. This event management system regulates event publication and registration to make it easier for students who want to take part in the event so that they don't hesitate to register themselves at the desired event or workshop. The Ventsity event management system is expected to help event managers and lecturers at the University of Semarang to create events or training such as several self-administered certifications and can help Semarang University students to make it easier to find and participate in events that are of interest or needed to help lectures. |
