| Abstract | Along with the development of advances in information and communication technology, competition in the world of work is getting tougher. The company must be able to manage data effectively and efficiently in accordance with the company's objectives. Telkomedika Semarang Optical Division is a company engaged in eyeglasses on Jalan Sriwijaya No. 2, Tegalsari, Candisari, Semarang City. Transaction data is recorded in operational book and then retyped in MS Excel application and sent to central office as a report via email. The process of generating reports takes time and is often late. In this study the author will create a Web-Based Sales Bookkeeping System using the programming language PHP, MySQL, and the Prototype method. The research resulted in the application of the Credit Sales System which can store credit sales transaction data and generate sales reports quickly. The research concludes that the prototype method can be used to produce applications that are in accordance with the user wishes and need. And with blackbox and beta testing, it is known that the application can run well. This credit sales application is expected to support the work of administrative staff in order to manage sales transaction data and producing sales reports on time. |
